3 hours and no reply and your starting to talk ****? I would guess anyone who would be reading this would know that the bucks have been bumping the does around pretty good lately and they are in the woods getting after it and not asking stupid questions in Mid-October on CF.com.

I seen a big buck chasing does a few days last week. The little bucks have been moving more and becoming carefree, had a few walk by at a few yards. started seeing action when the weather got cool starting last Monday. This is taking place in beaufort.

In the woods hunting instead of on computer asking. Cant kill em behind a keyboard.

Whoa, just trying to get a little chatter going. My mistake for coming onto a hunting forum to get a conversation going about…Hunting! Stupid me, what was I thinking. Terribly sorry to pull you out of your stand for such silly matters.

I guess you guys have it made so you can hunt all day ever day , and not be “on the computer asking stupid questions”. - even though you were on the computer to write a jackleg response to this thread. Since you are so fortunate , I hope that when you finally get out of your stand Jan 1st you will come back and tell the rest of us how it went. After all, as my deep thinking friend pointed out - “cant kill em behind a keyboard”…wow, think about that one for a minute, mind blowing point of the day!

Aside from the jiving, its all good and I hope that everyone has a great season . Enjoy!

Anybody have any popcorn?

Are you saying I couldn’t take my laptop to the deer stand with me?

Of course the rut is on down here. Last week was great hunting. Big bucks were moving and chasing does on my place. This week should be awesome after this front moves through. In my opinion this may very well be the best week of the season in the LC.

Scott Scott,

No big deal. But just silly to expect an answer in 3 hours, especially an answer for a new guy, completely unknown, who says something that ends in “…or what?”

Treat this site like a local bar. You’re new. Get to know people, and more importantly, let them get to know you.

Good luck this season.

Jim, point taken. Should of considered my resume has zero stars. Wasnt trying to be pushy, just getting the thread going, right… Looks like it worked. Anyhow, I guess my question had an Obvious answer - YES, the rut is on. Good to know. Thanks to all for the responses - hope I can get out this weekend! Cant wait to earn my first star!

I’ve had my laptop in the stand with me on many occasions. Hot Spot works great and I get a lot done without all the interruptions at work. I can get more done on some warranty issues in two hours in the stand than all day at work.

Huntsc, it’s starting. I’ve got several scraps and pictures are getting more random on time of day and night bucks are moving.

My guess is two more weeks!
