Awesome post! I’ve been wanting to do this trip for a while now. How long is the drive trailering a boat? Has the road to Venice improved at all? I heard it wasn’t the smoothest road to trailer a boat.

Road is so so at best. From sidel to Venice it is like riding in a 2 foot chop. Takes about 14 hours pulling a big boat from Charleston. Interstate the whole way though. Not tough just a long time but worth it. Could do it in less but would suck alot of fuel.

Worth a try though. Fishery is the best you will find with in 14 hours of the house by a long shot.

Great looking tuna

My biggest worry is that my wife (when I’m dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.
