It is different going back to trolling ballyhoo from live baiting in the Pacific. But fishing is fishnig and I will take it anywhere.
Fished the 200 line out to 600’. All the bites were in 400’-500’. We went 2 for 5 on the sails( yea I know, I don’t want to hear it, my ballyhoo fishing is rusty) , a hand full of dolphin and missed some wahoo. We had other sails on the teaser and dreadge but they would not commit.
The “Jimmy Isle Jammer” from LEHI Baits was the lure of the day. The fish would crush this thing, The sails would keep coming back to it and the wahoo took two of them. I can’t wait to try it at my place in Panama. LEHI, I need some more.
