All those “pearls” were in conversation with people that did not think they were doing damage to the Sailfish.
Z71 has been fishing a good while. He never tried to act like that was a “perfect release”. He admitted on the other website that he knew it was bad for the fish, but didn’t care because it was his bud’s first fish and they wanted the internet pic.
In the future, try understanding the threads you read for what is actually written and not just what you think is written.
hey guys, nice job! I run the 31 fountain you guys talked too that morning. We only got a blackfin and a king at the scarp. Lost something big on the downrigger though. a couple of barracuda and that was it.
don’t worry about the guys on this site. Unfortunately, alot don’t even post reports anymore b./c they can’t do it with out smart ass comments. I will rarely post on this site anymore bc of it. It’s ashame we can’t use the site to get helpful reports so we can plan fishing trips.
Words of wisdom , just post the pic’s of you releasing the fish in the water and keep the one’s of you holding the fish to your self and you won’t have to listen to the other words of wisdom.

For me, I do not get involved with every pic of someone posting a sailfish. IF one drags out and I see what I feel are illogical responses, I may put in my 2 cents. To comment on every thread would be counterproductive…just the ones where philosophical debates erupt are where I have commented to the best of my knowledge.

I did not post any type of response on this particluar thread relted to fishing, small boats, or dogs. As I stated earlier, I do not post on every thread related to billfishing.
