Left out of Murrells Inlet and went to the Parking Lot then to the vermillion(sp?) and marked a lot of bait there. Caught the sail right on top of the numbers that I had for the vermillion. Hit the deep rod that releases off of the planer and the yellow/white ribazon sea witch had a piece of wire leader. Other than that, a few cudas and that was the day. ran out at 25 and back in at 35.
Oh boy. An 18’ Wahoo, eh? Judging by the pictures, I’d say y’all are not only yahoos, but redneck yahoos…the worst kind. I’d suggest having the Coast Guard on standby whenever you go out, as you’ll most certainly need them someday. By the way, bo, I hope someone kicks you square in the codsack for manhandling that baby sail.
Ok … the over under is three pages and I’m taking bets. The way I figure we have at least one page for the 18’ boat 40 miles off shore and one page for taking the fish out of the water plus a half for dumb azz comments! Place your bets.
im taking the over on this one… my only questions are, where are the rods?? vhf antenna?? good thing he had his pack of smokes and fire extinguisher though!
WOW…good job on wearing your sunscreen and taking the fish out of the water for a few pics!!
“No tail like Split Tail…”
Wonder how you can get sunscreen applied to those hard to reach places, like the middle of your back?Unless maybe your wife or girlfriend was taking the picture, which would explain who could have done it:smiley:

You’re gay… and I don’t even know these guys.
Congratulations fellas. I would have snapped off the bill and crammed him in the fishbox if I was you. Sailfish sashimi is world-class.

The rods were stored in the front rod holders and the other two laying accross the front of the boat. The VHF antenna was up all day until we started fighting the fish. We talked to a few boats out there that day. Lowering the antenna allowed him to fight the fish without having it in the way of the line. But your right, good thing we had the extinguisher and smokes.

Who the hell are you?? Don’t get on here and chime in with comments like that buddy.
Don’t run off at the mouth like that, because maybe one day you might need one of these “redenck yahoos”.
If you want to chime in with you opinion, fine, but don’t resort to name calling. Very very very bad taste
