WEEK TWO

www.sailfishslam.com

The tournament wrapped up week two with Miss Annie holding her lead. The 52’ Viking, captained by Matt Rabenstine, has released a total of 15 sailfish and has tagged 10 of them giving them a total of 3010 points. Miss Annie has used all of her fish days for the event.

Holding on to 2nd place is Insure with 1401 points. The Ocean Yacht has released four sailfish and one blue marlin. The blue marlin was tagged. Insure has used two of their fish days.

In third place, the 50’ custom express, Artemis, has released five sailfish for 1000 points. Artemis has used two fish days.

There are seven boats that have not declared a fish day yet, and registration is still open.

Remember that fish day forms must be received by 8am on the day you wish to count towards your points. You may email or fax them to my attention at 843-577-7704 or mestes@megadock.us. You may also turn them into the tournament office above the BP Gas Station at the City Marina Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm or in the Dock Office at the City Marina between 7am and 8pm.

All tagged releases earn one additional point. If you need tags and/or a tag stick, contact Any Dukes from the Department of Natural Resources at 843-953-9365 or dukesa@dnr.sc.gov. If you are reporting tagged fish, you must submit your “Fish Tagging Report” with the tag number on it along with your affidavit by 7:30pm the day the fish were caught. You may also fax or email that information to me.

Finally, remember that registration is open all month. I have received phone calls from a few boats that may join us later in October. If you know anyone who would like to participate, encourage them to sign up. You may also enter the optional categories up until your first fish day. (payment must be received prior to the fish day)

Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Have a great week!
