I am thinking of purchasing a 2660 sailfish but have recently been hearing good things about Sea Hunt boats. I was curious to get some other opinions. I have also been looking at Regulator and Pursuit but they are obviously a big step up with a price that reflects that.
This will be a used boat not new
Thanks for any advice and comments as long as constructive
Sailfish makes a good boat for the money. Sea hunt as well. Boils down to layout and power preference… Also how good/close the dealer is to you if you are buying new.
Sailfish is similar to the classic sea craft hull design. Sea hunt’s new stuff is also a very good hull design.
Need more specifics if you want to compare. The 26 sailfish got redesigned a little a few years ago. I know people who have both. Also know people with 24 and 25 sea hunts. All seem to be happy.
Just buy my boat and quit shopping. Then I can get my new boat.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

You are comparing apples to oranges. I am big fan of Sea Hunt but the Sailfish is a higher shelf boat. The Sailfish is also a 24 degree deadrise hull which will give you a better ride but a little more sway when anchored or drifting. You might want to go to www.thehulltruth.com to get more information.
