Sails are still here

We were 3/4 on sails 450 line 300-330 ft. Heard two boats up the road from me. One went 1/2 on blue marlin the other boat caught 3 sails.

The best fishing for billfish in many years.

I am curious to here some theories on what was different this year than other years. Inshore some things have been different as well.

Engine problems have kept me off the water for most of this year. Once the fish got wind of this, they became less fearful to frequent our waters...

Longline fishing within territorial waters is now seriously regulated. I believe it is only available to American fishermen. Generally, their target fish is broadbill swordfish.

Drift netting also made illegal worldwide.
