Myself and a buddy kept 9 stripers yesterday b/w noon and 4. Biggest was 29" and threw back 3 around 19" or 20". We also missed a few throughout the day but the one that hurt the most was the limit fish. We were down to our last two herring and he hooked up fought the fish until he was beside the boat and he pulled the hook. It was my first trip to the Saluda this year I have been in the Congaree once also but only kept five.
If you dont mind my asking, were you using live herring, cut bait, or lures. Thanks, Charles
Sorry for the late post I have been away from the computer for awhile. It was live herring floating under a small cork.
