Finally got a day to hit the water for some tropical trout. Managed to catch a few with one nice fish in the mix. Water on the river is still above the blue level and had a guy tell me that due to the coal-plant being shut down that the water level is to remain that high. No good for the trout…

The river will remain high as long as SCE&G wants to keep the lake drawn down, but next spring if the lake is not filling up fast enough for all the whining homeowners you can rest assured they will hold water in the lake and the river will be low.
