I have some relatives with a house practically right on the Saluda but I don’t know how to fish in. I’ve caught a few nice 'bows but the larger fish and different species evade me.
Anyone have any tips or advice?
The lower Saluda has some good fishing, especially for largemouth & trout. Fish around the vegetation for largemouth and run a rooster tail or small mepps spinner through the riffles for trout. I like a small kayak and some waders for getting around. You’ll probably pick up some nice chain pickerel, yellow perch, and bluegill in that vegetation too!
