I was wondering if many people have started catching striper on the Saluda yet. I saw some carcasses by the James Meetze landing the other day but haven’t heard many reports. I went upriver from the landing and didn’t have any luck the other day. Wondering if more people were catching them downriver. Any reports would be helpful.
I have heard of some people catching a few in Saluda. A guy I work with said they are still catching them in the Congaree. I have only been fishing once in the past six weeks. My wife had twins 13 weeks early and they are still in the hospital. They are now out of the ICU and into special care, so I may go out and tomorrow. Can’t decide if I want to go to the lake or the river.
You can get’em but you have to go way up near the back of the Dam. Cast as far as you can toward the Dam from the safety line. Use Buck Tails and Live Herring. Lake World by the Dam can give you more info. God Bless, Coach B
Is it any wonder Jesus choose Fisherman for his disciples?
