sandpit club

Does anybody have any info on who to contact to join.

If you’re talking about the club up in knightsville side of summerville, his name is glen and he’s got a saw sharpening business on central ave. The business is at his house so call before you go by cause he’s not the nicest guy I’ve ever met.

Rtjohnson, thanks for the info. What do you mean by not the ni
cest guy? Is he hard to deal with?

No, Maybe I shouldn’t have said he wasn’t nice. He’s just straight to the point and he has a very clear set of rules. I think the rates are up around $350 a year. I was a member for 3 years and there is some quality fishing out there. Lots of bass and crappie. If you join, let me know what you think.

Is that the ponds on the left on 17A going towards cottageville?

It is across the street from the Shriners club on the corner of 61 and 17A

There are lots of ponds out that way. Is that the only one that isn’t completely private? Is the buffalo still out there?

thanks rtjohnson1982 for correcting yourself.glen fee is a Veteran and one of the most honorable people ive known in a lot of years.sandpit club does have rules but those rules are so every member can enjoy themselves when they fish or camp.ive been a member for 12 years and never a problem.i obey the rules and am proud to say i help enforce the rules.i usually give more problems than glen.current membership for 2012 is $400 just fishing and $600 for camping and fishing.

SANDPIT CLUB, I CALLED GLEN FEE ABOUT A MEMBERSHIP IN THIS CLUB. HE SAID IT HAD BEEN SOLD AND HE HAD NO IDEA ABOUT WHO TO CALL FOR MEMBERSHIP. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH SOME UP TO DATE INFO ON THIS FISHING CLUB IN SUMMERVILLE, S.C.
