The Santee River on 2/27/15 was about 4ft. High at the 52 bridge, It was muddy and cold (45 deg.). Last year, shad were caught at 55 deg. Tailrace was 46deg. on 2/28/15. Did not try Arrowhead. Hope the thousands killed last Spring want adversely affect it this year.

Where is the best place to put in the Tail Race to catch shad?
tail race boat landing off hwy 402
Santee is up to 10ft and rising. Might have to fish off the 17 bridge if it doesn’t slow down.
