Sat 1/3

Fished the afternoon and went 0 for 7 on keepers on downrods at 37 ft, but did run across this rare sight off Timberlake. A big buck and a doe (not in pic) were out in 100ft of water heading toward the Lexington side of the lake when I first ran across them.

My phone was the only cam I had, but I was able to get a decent pic.

that’s awesome. i saw two does in santee last week in the middle of the flats like that. got some cool video of them swimming. they sure do swim fast for little skinny feet.
