Sat, afternoon harbor

Couldnt find anyone to fish the afternoon high tide in the flats boat and decided to try the kayak. Put in at sunrise park around 4:30. Right away saw some reds but no takers. Did see one around 20lbs, seemed like he was sleeping. While trying to cast to him managed to spook another between the big one and me. Later on I was tying on a different lure and was just drifting along and felt the kayak bump something and all hell broke lose. After regaining my composure I turned to see a porpoise jumping clean out of the water. Evidently we spooked each other. Thats is the neatest thing I ever saw. But hope it never happens again. I think I lost about 3 years of my life at that moment. My heart was pumping so hard it hurt. All in all it was fun. I really like this kayak thing, its amazing how close you can get to the reds with out spooking them.

Where is sunrise park?

If a man wakes up early to go fishing he 's sleep deprived, If a man wakes up late to go fishing he’s fish deprived

sunrise park is a well kept secret
