Not much to report, but at least I got SOMETHING to report!! 
Finally got around to getting the boat finished up and got to put in for the first time this year on Sat eve. Didn’t want to mess with bait on the first trip, so I started off just blind casting around some shallow points. No luck.
After dark, I started trolling plugs and had one on that I lost at about 8:30 or so…felt like a real small fish. Trolled a while longer and it was looking like I was going to start off the year with a skunk until about 10:30 when I had one hit just as I was about to put the rod in a holder after letting the line out. Got this one in and it was a decent keeper just shy of 25". Tried it a while after that, but the wind was picking up and the temp was dropping pretty quick, so I called it a night.
