Hit the water early with my son and fished the falling tide. Took some advice from the nice older gentleman at the bait shop just past the landing and fished the channel on left at last turn as you head out to jetties. Cast grubs at docks and kept a minnow on bottom all day.

Within first 15 minutes I hooked up on a nice 22’ Red on the third dock I cast too. Got him in the boat and I thought it was on. I was wrong, nothing for the next couple hours. Just before we were calling it quits my son hooked up and pulled a nice 20’ Red in. No luck on the founder but snot grass was horrible and not sure I’ve got that down yet. If anyone wants to share a flounder hole or two with me I’ll take it… Lol

After fishing picked up my wife and daughter and spent a few hours at the point relaxing. My son snagged a Blue from the beach and we witnessed a man and his young son haul in a 25’ tagged Red from the beach! All in all caught some fish and nice sun burn!! Fun day on the water!!!

nice
