Quick report. Decided to go only artificial this morning for a short trip. Made it to the lower lake by sunrise and found some fish busting bait on the surface. Probably had 30 blowups over about an hour or so and lost a couple, landed 3. They only seemed to want a shad colored walk the dog style lure. Short timespan on the action but hard to beat topwater.
