Took one the guys from work and gave it a try after that wind died down friday night. Hit all the hot spots and nothing. Did I mention it took me an hour os so to thaw out and my finger were not reacting to holding that wet braid rtying to cast. Nothing all day and finally I got the single 19" trout in clouter creek on the way back to bushy. Water only ranged from 47 to 51. What a rough day but after catching that trout he said he’s willing to give it another try another day. Yeah fish was released. :sunglasses:

I fished for about an hour without one hit in the river Sunday.The water was clear and Cold!!! 50 degree H2o is tough fishing. Trying again Christmas Eve. Thanks for the report.

water temp was 49 at daybreak, got up to 53 by noon yesterday.

We went out sat in the am and had the Same results. Could stop paddling and the wind would blow us backward against the tide.
