I haven’t been able to get out on the water for several weeks.finally had a chance this passed weekend. Took two friends along with me…Ray and Rich. We fished the Stono out towards Kiawah river. THere was a little bit more wind than I expected but we were able to find some calm areas. Fished from about 3 hrs before high to about 2 hrs before low. Couldn’t find any shrimp so we used mud minnows and cut mullet. Picked at the reds most of the day, one here, one there.slow but constant. Also brought in a 17.5 in trout that ended up being the second place winner in the Stono River Fishing Club trout tournament!!. A couple of pix from our catches!!.
