Started catching nice fish on PB & FL then the schooling started and went on for a couple hours. Caught 2 7# fish on flyrod along with anything else we threw at them. All fish back in the lake.
Weather was horrible but fishing was great!
Agent, What was the water temp where you were fishing. and if you dont mind sharing at what depth were you marking fish when you were using PB and FL or were you close to the bank.

Water temp was almost 60 in some spots and we were in anywhere from 15 to 35 feet. Never really fished any banks but shallow areas crossing points. Ballentine Cove was where we were today.

Sorry for the not so much detailed report but were still new to bait fishing and just pick a spot where we saw schooling fish previously and drop the lines. We have no other rhyme or reason as to why we fish somewhere with bait. I give credit to those who can go out with an actual strategy and make it work.
