Cleared the rocks around five o’clock and headed straight out. Dropped lines around 6:45 and a few minutes later had double hoos on and put both in the box. The big one broke 40 lbs on the boga.
We stayed pretty close the the ledge all day and managed to put 8 more phins in the boat. Pulled lines at 12:45 to beat the bad weather. Seas were 1 foot all day until we hit a small squall 7 miles from the jetties. All in all a great day.

It’s a small green machine knock-off I bought for around 8 bucks. It caught half of the fish yesterday plus the big hoo.
Nice job Bob. I’m going to have to fish vicariously through you and turd til the almost born is 8 7 6 5 weeks a few days old.
