Pogies were in front of Sumter early before 1020 low. They were scattered. Fished south jetty inside and out. Couple nice reds, 4 Sharpnose, a keeper flounder, too many sea bass. Calm and beautiful day.
Ran behind IOP and hooked a nice red. It got wrapped around a metal pole sticking up out of oyster rake. Pulled anchor and drifted back to untangle line on pole and had the fish right by the boat. So, grabbed the net and fish landed. Definitely the weirdest landing for me.
