Fished over towards #7 on the map on Saturday morning and evening. Morning wind was brutal and ended up over at the mouth of Bear Creek. Caught 2 and had some pull downs, but we probably lost the early morning bite.
Saturday PM we were just using up the bait from the morning. Had about 15 baits and were left with 3 in the end. Caught one that would go about 10 or 11 lbs, one 5 lb, and two pups. Had a good many pull downs but I think some may have been gar.
We were fishing in the upper right hand corner of the Z5 block, and had the baits anywhere from 30-35 feet down.
Note the 10# fish was caught while power reeling. Had a pull down and was checking the bait and one small fish came up with it but did not take the bait. I immediately down it back down and power reeled up. BAM! 10# fish on.
