First time on the water in three weeks. Fished most of the ebb tide and half the incoming mostly on oyster rakes in the South Edisto. Ended up with 18 trout, 10 keepers. All 15-18 inches. Got 2 15" redfish that were released. Trout were not so lucky. One trout an one red on mud minnows, everything else on the trout trick. Slow day except for 2 45 min periods when they really turned on when the tide was about halfway down and halfway up.

trout tricks work really well this time of year when the water is a bit more clear. Glad you got on em for a few min at least. Beats sitting around the house!

We fished the same area but only for about an hour as tide started bac in. We hit a couple places after a day of shrimping. Saw big red and some trout. Fished DOA shrimp and fresh shrimp. Had a couple short strikes but only takers was two big skates. My buddy thought he had a good one! Lol. I guess we should have tried grubs or trout tricks Still great day on water.
