Saturday Fishing Flood Tide

Took out the 14FT Stealth Kayak

8:30 AM Launched at Shem Creek and rode the big outgoing tide to the harbor. What a zoo took the last parking spot at the launch and must have been at least 30 rental kayaks in the creek along with many boats.

Only had about 11/2HR to fish due to family obligations. Fished around the entrance to Shem Creek did really well 3 Reds 28 to 32 inches They were hitting Z-Man 3inch curly tail gold flake grubs with pro cure mullet sent all fish were in 2 to 3FT water depth not at the grass line or shallow flats

Note stay away from Shem creek on the weekends

Dang, we put in at Shem Creek to go to the backside of Sullivan’s. I should have stayed at the creek. Nice fish.
