I picked up a few flounder wade fishing in Mt. Pleasant Saturday. I don’t know if it was the moon or wrong tide or what but most of the fish just wouldn’t commit. I had a lot of taps and strikes that I’m pretty sure were flounder but didn’t get a great hook set. Picked up three and released them all.

I went to a couple of other spots in the Cooper that usually produce fish and nada. I threw practically everything I had at them, from top water to dragging the bottom.

Cast to fish ratio was about 3000:1

Better than 4000:1, Don’t you hate it when they just don’t eat, those taps were probably pinfish, those things have been eating anything I throw in the water lately

It’s the full moon. Last 3 times I’ve fished on one we’ve caught 2 reds 1 red and yesterday bounced lures of their face all afternoon and they wouldn’t touch it.
