It took me a while, but I found some time between school and work to put together my gigging light (I’ve only had the supplies for about 4 months!). Saturday night I had about an hour available to go out around low tide. Saw a lot of undersized flounder, crabs, squid, and one 18.5" that I took home for dinner. Hoping to be able to make some more time this weekend.
What kind of light set up do you have? Were you able to find some clear water?
I set up a system that I thought up over years of using Coleman lanterns. It wasn’t the clearest of waters, but it worked. When the wind is blowing you have to find an area where it’s blocked from having too much fetch over the area that you’re wading.
There is a fine line between genius and insanity, and I have a foot on either side.
I was gonna say “great visibility!!” but then I realized that is your driveway
