Saturday great day!

Started out interesting, when loading ice in boat found and BSB that was left in the fishbox from two weeks ago! Closest to being (sea sick) I’ve ever came!!! after being delayed to clean the fishbox, we got on the water about 6:15am. We ran on about 28mph in decent seas (no curtains up)trolled/bottom fished in 70-110’ of water. Had a super great day with following seas on way in which was nice. Off water about 4:pm. 5- kings,1-big Spanish,1-aj,1-trigger,5-BSB, 8-vermillion,1-tuna and 6-extinct fish(released). :sunglasses:

I am going to start calling you the king slayer. You have been putting a hurting on them the last three weeks.Have you been going towards the black banks or the the gardens?Fished the black banks and the sixty Sat.nothing but Barracuda,AJS and undersize Black Bass.Should have gone Sun.the seas were alot better than Sat. a little bumpy.Sat.

Guessing just lucky, but thanks we been doing OK. Hoping to go again this Saturday if the weather is good. Been catching them between 60’-100’ range but they are scattered. A lot of 8-15lb fish, we got a few up to 32lb, largest for season so far. The smokers are out there some where, just have to find them. Just some advice light on the drag, kings can tear lose easy, so let them run, once they have there first couple of runs they come in pretty good, also we lighten the drag some when they are close to the boat in case of those last quick runs. Good luck!!!
