Left the dock at 3 a.m. Heading for Southwest banks. Arrived at our destination at 6. Had several missed oppertunities. To inculde a fairly good sized wahoo. Did pick up a 20+lbs King. Unfortunately I don’t care for King, but the guys wanted to keep it so we did. Trolled out to 1100’ picking up three Dolphin, all gaffers. Trolled back into 140’ picked up 2 slingers and a cuda. Not a great day. Better than watchin tv though. We started heading in around 5 and got the heck beat out of us all the way in.
Sounds like you did as well or better than most this weekend, at least of the boats I have talked to. Congrats. Wind really kicked up Saturday afternoon.
