Saturday late report

Finally found someone to fishh SCSSA tourney with me at the last minute. I was considering fishing it alone. He wasn’t a member so my arms are just now capable of typing. Started up at GTH and it was a little slow at first. We missed the early morning tuna bite as per usual, but the doplhin bite turned on. We went 4-5 until around noon, all under 20#, then it slowed up. So we pushed out to 400 feet and found a weedline with a pallet and picked at dolphin for the rest of the day. Probably boated only around 1/2 of them due to the fear that my non member buddy would pull in one that placed. My arms are still sore. I have never reeled in so many and to think how many we lost. Ended up with 15 Doplhin all under 20#. The ocean was perfect. rode 27mph out and 35mph in.

Didn’t I see you 30 miles South of the GTH on a rip in 350 feet?

Let’s Go Crazy!!!

I don’t think so. I was in a 30’ Intrepid, fighting lady yellow. Ther is another boat called Otay out of Edisto, maybe you saw them. What kind of boat was it?

I saw both Otay boats on Sat. the other is a white cc possibly a contender. We saw the yellow one at the weigh in.

Blue Sailfish, we were pulling out when you were coming in. Nice ride you have. We ended up like everyone else lots of 10 to 20lb fish, see you at Reds tomorrow night.
