Saturday March 12

fished the 295 line up to the 265 line between 160ft and 205 ft. The water temp was 75 degrees. For us the wahoos weren’t snapping… However, we caught plenty of barracudas, bonitas, and yep you guessed it amberjacks!! after 1 o’clock we called it quits and went to catch some bottom fish. Caught plenty of Black Sea bass, vermillion snappers, and red snappers. Good luck next week. Tight lines

We ran a similar line in 190’-250’ water temp was 74-74.5 degrees and had two hoo hit late. First was about 1pm and the second was around 2:15pm. We were high speeding and debating on switching to slow trolling some meat. Great ride out (40 knots) and great ride in (42knots) once within 45 miles or so.

Dropbox video of Hook’em 2 wahoo’s. I got to ride and film and drive a little bit. Epic day.

We found the wahoo in 150’ to 165’ slow trolling. Got 2 in the boat and let 2 pull the hook before we got a gaff in. I think maybe to many beer sodas.

Slow trolling as in live bait? Or slow as in “not-high-speed” trolling?
