saturday morning

fished the last of falling and first of the rising. couple of rat reds and too many sting rays for the 1st couple of hours. then the big boys moved in. landed 3 26-28 inches. lost another to an oyster bed. finger mullet under popping cork. there is nothing better than getting towed by a fat spottail.

I am hopeing for a day like that soon… sounds like much fun!
I kept 2 nice flounder yesterday, the bigger one measuring 18", also caught 3-4 trout and flounder (11-14") and one rattail. This morning went without one landed.
What size tackle are you using and how long does it take to land one? And where exactly did you catch them:smiley:

10 lb test line with 20 ld leader. water pretty warm so fish big run when realized hooked, then a little sluggish. i spend as much time reviving as i do catching to make sure they are good to go before release. i was up the coast on the other side of georgetown at the in-laws.

18 inches is a nice flounder. congrats!
