My dad and I put off at limehouse a little after 730 this morning one last time before I head back to school. We went to our first spot but the tide was to low and out of the grass. We did manage to catch a stingray on the bottom. We move to the next spot with no luck. Fished an oyster bed in a creek mouth and my dad caught a blacktip a little over two feet. Went further up the creek and caught alot of shrimp and even a trout in the net. Fished another oyster bed and we caught a 14 in trout another blacktip and stingray. Moved to another creek and caught a whiting on the bottom with shrimp. Decided to head in cause the waves from the bigger boats were beating us up. The trout hit shrimp under a cork and one blacktip hit mullet under a cork and the other shrimp on the bottom.
Nice to see some trout moving into that spot. Next time try the oyster mound closet to the powerlines where the mudflat ends and the grass begins. There is a little bit of bottom structure that holds some reds.

I thought that was a Polar. I drive a Flats 1788. You don’t see many of them around here. Mine isn’t fancy but it does everything I need it to do and will get real skinny.
