Left the dock around 7:30 am to catch the end of the falling tide and the beginning of the incoming. Stopped at all my favorite docks on the falling tide used cut mullet or pieces of frozen shrimp and got one small croaker to show for it. Low tide, stopped at a great bait producing creek and netted plenty of shrimp and finger mullet and even managed a flounder!
went to another favorite location on Wadmallaw sound and got a couple of small reds and plenty of sting rays. Reds hit the live shrimp and a piece of cut mullet. Back at the dock around 3pm.
Water was clear and between 80-83 degrees and a nice breeze out of the west made it bearable in the 90plus degree temperatures.
nice day to be out on the water!!
