Saturday Perch Jerkin' Report

Took a break from stripers today to jerk some perch with Spoonmaster and “Diddy.” We fished Johns Creek and Twin Islands and kept 83 perch, a 3 pound black bass, and a 7 pound channel cat. We bumped Berry and Cotton Cordell spoons in 48 to 58 feet of water. A good time was had by all! We had several that would top a pound. Back to stripers next weekend.

Had a great morning perch fishing Thursday at the mouth of Johns creek and the boat ran great. We ended up with 74 nice ones. We caught our fish on medium shiners just inches off the bottom.:sunglasses:
