Saturday Report 3/8

As planned, I struck out solo today and tried 4 different upper midlake areas. 2 produced really well with fish to around 7-8 pounds. Not sure how many keepers I got, but the action was pretty consistent in the 2 areas for 21-28 inchers. I kept 4 for tomorrow night’s grilling. With the MSC tournament coming up, I’ll not be too specific this time. However, I will tell you that the better fish favored 25-35 feet of water, high in the column with flatlines and planers. Late morning and early afternoon was best today. It was a beautiful day, and I saw several of our posters out there as I rode around.

Fog, Lets get together soon. Maybe you could run over to the dock after your tournament Saturday, if you have time. I bought a good sized box of fishing hooks, baits, etc. at a fund raiser. Some of the hooks will probably be good for striper fishing. They’re yours if you want them. I’ll try and separate them out ahead of time if I know you’re coming from all of the other stuff.
Good news. Final treatment was this past Friday. YEAH!! All tests were good! Now those fish better beware!
Also, let me call me about “April”, if you need me.

Thanks Spoon! I’ll stop by if by chance we finish early, but we’re usually at it until the last minute and put the boat on the trailer at weigh-in. I’ll get with you soon… That’s great with your treatments ending!
