Saturday report

I ended up staying on the lower end with advice from Richard (Lake World). I went out around 3:00pm. Main lake temp was 55 but I found 58 in the cove to the south of Salem’s Point. I only caught three short ones there. One was 21" with a pinched tail but I threw him back. At sunset I went to yacht cove and caught two more shorts. After the wind died down I went out to the towers and caught 7 more. Three of the ones at the towers were 20". Had fun, but not keepers. Most hits were on freelines and planers.

Missed you on sat steely, did see striper king br549 out there though. Fished anchored and tried cut bait and live-no luck at all, not even a strike. Pulled up and went to one of my good spots and marked lotsa fish but no takers at all. My oldest daughter and one of friends and grandpa went out above big mans and the big river and only caught 1 eisenhower all day…goes to say sudden weather changes will screw dem fush up!

there you go blaming it on the weather. my son and i caught over 65 crappie this weekend. we threw back another 25 or so little ones. maybe you turds should come with us and we can show you a few things. they may not be stripers but man;those fillets eat really good. jeremy hooked a striper friday that doubled a good stiff crappie pole and took it completely under the boat until it snagged on the trolling motor. was fun for a minute but just could not turn it.
we had a great time out there this weekend. holler.

Got 4 between 18-20"s over around the Cola. water plant and a couple more in Ballentine Cove. Very slow trolling a yellow/white bucktail at 8-10’. Lots of birds working but they would not stay up long enough to get there and cast.
