One of the most gorgeous days I have ever spent on the ocean. Icy, no humidity, sunrise and sunset were works of art. Cruised to the GTH on a sea so glassy it felt like you were running through the clouds. Lines in at 8:30am, lost a wahoo shortly there-after, worked out to a deep ledge and hooked up on one of the largest sails I’ve ever caught on the east coast, circled back around and picked up a nice wahoo. This was meant to be a jigging/popping trip and not trolling focused so we pulled lines at 10am and went to working the water column. Ended up with some mondo AJs, couple of skippies and that was about it. Stopped several different places on the ride back in to try and pick up a grouper or two but they were not having it. Managed a handfull of nice seabass but even they were hard to come by on the artificals. All in all a great day with a couple of good friends.
