Went back to the spot where we caught fish on Sunday. Everything was about the same except for the cloudy day and calm conditions. Never hooked a striper and the perch were few and far between. Tried as shallow as 18’ all the way out to 44’. We worked hard to keep 31 perch, some nice and some not so big. Also caught one largie big enough to keep, but turned it loose to bite another day. Most bites came between 25’ and 30’ deep.
We also marked some fairly large suspended fish over deeper water. Most appeared to be between 20’ and 40’ deep. Made me wish I had a dozen or so herring and some of Fogman’s down rods!!
