Launched from Bushy at around 645 to look for some trout. Little foggy but the water was calm and no wind and the gnats took full advantage. Didn’t find much in the bushy area so headed towards the wando. That was a good choice… Caught over a dozen trout. Alot Of 12-13" trout in the water I swear. All caught on yellow trout eye jig heads and pearl minnowz. Took a few for supper. Good day overall.

Nice dinner served! I love them with just a little oil salt and pepper grilled and then I drizzle a little ginger wasabi sauce from the Bitter Sweet Herb Garden (finishing sauce). Try it sometime is really good! Have to order online and its about $11 a bottle but worth it. Tight lines.
I would love to know where there was no wind Sat…or Sunday for that matter haha. Either way you had some good fishing, nice job!

I usually grill them up with a little lemon pepper but I’ll definitely have to try that out. As for the wind first thing in the morning and probably the first 2 hours up in bushy, no winds and the gnats were out in numbers. The breeze picked up a little later on but one of the more cooperative days in awhile. Some how my post double up, not sure why.
