Did some booze cruisin saturday and got into some schoolin fish all were small and caught on a x rap. marked alot of fish in about 30 feet of water. I plan on going this evening with bait and my smokin hot girlfriend.

Yeah, we ran out of beer and bait at 11:30. There was a lot of gar around last night. They were all over the surface from the towers to about 200 yards out. We fished the trees outside of Jakes all the way to the towers. We marked scattered fish the entire time. They did not seem that active. It seems like when they are hitting they show up on the FF going up and down. Last night most of them stayed horizontal.
Triton she was still there when I got home. Thanks for the beers, I should know by now to bring at least a case for these evening trips.

I still got my boat at Jakes, but haven’t been able to get out much these days. Gonna troll w the d’riggers a couple of evenings this coming week if you want to go.
