How’d everyone do?

Terrible. One slinger. Got rained on, had to run from lightning.

We were similar to claim. Avoided the storms, but we saw very few boats where we fished. Finally found a nice weed line and a rip in 1200’ later in the day. Couple of knockdowns, but only 1 slinger to show for it. Great day on the water with great company, but not to much to show for it.

Heard it was a lot better further south.

Found nice weedline around the 380 hole, massive rips, horrible current. Caught 4 and lost around 10. Problem was we only had 1.5 hours left to fish when we finally found them. Had evening plans back at Lake Murray so had to head in for our 70 mile hike back to land at 12:00 noon. Couple key notes for those who are struggling. With Mahi, for the past 3 years, blue and white has produced 10-1 over any other color combo’s. Also, lately they’ve bit the naked rubber skirts versus those or sea witches with ballyhoo.

1 for 2 on dolphin 15 minutes after lines in then nothing for 5 hours and headed shallower to around 200 feet and ended the day with a wahoo, king, dolphin and a couple of pulled hooks. Definitely a grind on Saturday.

Polar 2300 Twin Yamaha 150’s

made it out to the Edisto Offshore picked up 3 grunts and a porgy before going in to 4KI, there we got 8 nice size BSB. missed one storm on the way out and conditions were closer to the 4ft range than the 2 ft range we were hoping for.

Went south from the rocks Saturday to avoid the first big storm cell. Trolled for about an hour and a half in 200 with nothing. Got bored then decided to go further south and bottom fish in 95 feet. Ended with a handful of keeper seabass , triggers and a good king.
