. I am thinking about coming to Charleston for some long overdue fishing this Saturday and wanted to know what you all thought of the outlook for offshore.

Yesterday Bouy weather had everything looking pretty good,today looks like all the graphs have reversed…WTH…
That’s the way it seemed for me all last year. On the few occasions I could get loose, the weather turned to crap. Rats!

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I watch it everyday,i just dont talk about it being nice until later…for me i plan to fish every weekend the weather allows.

I do the samething I just keep my mouth shut till it is time to go. The ones that post a week early are the ones that lack the confidence to make a discision on there own. Sorry if that comment pisses anyone off but someone has to say what others are thinking.

Unfortunately, when you are 2.5 hrs from the ramp, let alone stopping for bait, you have to plan and adjust. I am not burning that much gas to turn around and burn it again. I “plan” to fish lots of times, every chance I can. My problem is that the few weekends I had off last year the weather seemed to be awful or there was a storm offshore churning the heck out of the Atlantic.

Sorry, but I am not sure what you are saying here. Am I to imply that I am displaying a lack of confidence by asking for some local input into the weather situation? No, I never try to “jinx” the weather. I just am handicapped by distance.

DawgFan – you could always make the trip down and just hang inshore if the seas don’t cooperate. Looks like it should hopefully at least stay sunny.
