Took a walk out to a dock in my neighborhood and saw fiddlers for the first time this year. Last weeks string of 80 degree weather must have woke them up.
I haven’t walked any flats yet but I’d assume the fiddlers are starting to come out there as well. Reds won’t be far behind.
I caught fiddlers the other morning they have been out for about a week, but they are spread out, I haven’t seen them herding in the sun yet. I then went sheep head fishing at the sunken barge in folly/green creek and Backmens but had only 3-5 hits (unsure about 2) and caught 3 dog fish. There are fish on the flats in the grass but not good numbers yet.
