They were waiting for me last Friday when I coasted out of the jetties.
Five of them on a zodiak, all bundled up for cold weather, boat driver in a crash helmet. Looked like a big 10-legged bug coming at me with a flashing blue light.
Two boarded my boat, checked it over good (including dates on flares) and gave me a No-Violation boarding report, told me to keep it handy and if stopped again I could show that to the boarding team.
They were a sharp, clean-cut bunch of young guys, pleasant and courteous. I thanked them for being out there.
So, have all your boat stuff up to date and have some ID and boat registration ready to show them. You, too, may get a pleasant visit. I bet all the babe boats get checked!
