Amazing. Now you have to worry about sharks AND gators. Wonder if he knows how to get home?

Get those numbers and call Lisabit or Troy and they’ll come police him up!

Yeah I’m like 95+% sure I saw one yesterday at the stono inlet on the backside of kiawah, but it dipped under water. The head looked like it was likely 8-10 ft gator.

We once caught one in a shrimp net about 10 miles off Hilton Head. Makes you wonder what they are thinking  Maybe it was a FL gator heading for NC for the summer. Saw a deer once swimming about 5 miles out between Tybee and Hilton Head.

Maybe I will get my Gator tag this year for Gulf Stream region.

I wonder if that is the one that washed up on Folly Beach today?

Annnnd, the libtards are crying about the gator getting shot. Well, what did they think was gonna happen? Maybe they thought the DNR guys were gonna pet the gator and play fetch with the “poor thing.” Geewiz.

It’s sad that the gator met his end in that way, but I understand the decision to do it (mostly). I’m pretty sure that Folly gets visited by 10ft+ sharks on an hourly basis, and I’m not all that sure a gator is any more dangerous. They don’t seem to be all that worried about the sharks… so I’m not all that sure that the gator was the threat that he seemed.

At the very least, though, no human was hurt. I’m going to have to assume that this was their motivation.

For what it’s worth, whining about the gator shooting being seen by kids… I have two kids myself, and they have this unusual circumstance… they live on EARTH. While I admit it’s a bit of a harsh reality for a kid to see a gator get shot, that’s the perfect time to explain to your kids that human life is of far more value than animal.

Sadly I expect that these whiners will waste this opportunity, and we’ll continue to raise a legion of kids who will give their money to insano-crazies like PETA… and then also support Planned Parenthood. Such a ghastly lack of dignity for human life.

Yeap…good way of looking at it to me. As much as some people want to ignore reality, facts are facts and decisions are made sometimes that everyone will not agree with. I personally don’t see this as much different than squashing a roach in the house. Gators are no longer protected like they used to be, and there is actually a hunting season on them now to keep the numbers in check–reasonably could be part of how the gator made it there in the first place. So, they shot a nuisance gator…Jimmy cracked corn, and I don’t care. Hey PETA, go eat a bag of crap. Or, PETA can come wrestle with a 10’ gator themselves and put their money where their mouth is.

Yes indeed Larry. Hopefully they did something productive with that gator.

The news reported last night that the gator was taken to a processing facility where the meat and hide were processed. Gotta get me some gator skin boots and some fried tail!
