I tried to make it out there for the meet up, but I had some family obligations. I did go out in the afternoon, big mistake!! The the wind whooped me good.

the April trip will be on the 1st at 1030am and this time its a vote between 2 places 1. Murrells Inlet leaving from the HotFish Club…there is a boat landing behind the restaurant 2. Folly Beach Public Boat Landing…the landing is on the right when you cross over the bridge…cast your vote

looks like Folly is getting the votes, if you ever fish Murrells may I recommend the Oyster recycling spot on hwy 17 just past the state park great hard beach at any tide you back down to the waters edge and good fishing about 5 minutes away.

Folly sounds great…Hurricane at the organizational meeting the decision was to have group outings on the first Sunday of every month at a different location. So the April one will be on April Fool’s Day (April 1)…So April Fool’s and Folly makes sense sort of.

looks like folly is getting the votes…yeah the oyster recycling spot is nice but i like the the landing behind hotfish club because it is a little closer to the jetties although we are not going there this time…we had worries that the jetties might be too advanced for some of the newer yakkers…i would love to do a meet and fish in front of folly pier or fish the grillage for bull reds…or around morris lighthouse…maybe another time …many more meet and fish events available for that
