SC Legislature Opposes VMS

This week, BOTH houses of the South Carolina General Assembly unanimously opposed VMS in a resolution. This sends a clear message to the South Carolina Members of the SAFMC: Vote no for VMS. A copy of the resolution can be found here: http://www.scstatehouse.gov/sess120_2013-2014/bills/3920.htm

How about next up a resolution calling on Gov Haley to remove Cupka? Can you do that?

I can, but I believe that allowing him to hang himself by ignoring the will of the General Assembly is the better option. Hopefully he’ll see the light and do the right thing.

So for those of us who don’t quite know the process for legalization of keeping BSB, does this mean that BSB will definitely be made legal very soon? When would it take effect?

If not, what further obstacle is there to overcome?

See the BSB topic. If it passes the Senate before June, then yes, BSB’s will be legal this year. There’s a good chance of that happening.

If I could vote in SC, I know who I’d be voting for, but I’m right across the Georgia line. Since I fish mostly in SC, I really do appreciate your efforts and common sense. Good job :smiley:
